(1) A person who wants to establish a care center or a daycare center in any place of Nepal or an association formed in accordance with the prevailing law shall submit an application to the concerned Chief District Officer for approval with the following details: –
(a) Applicant's Name Surname, Country of Origin,
(b) If the applicant is a union organization formed according to the prevailing law, a copy of the certificate registered according to the prevailing law,
(c) the place where the care center or day service center will be established and the capacity of such center, including details of the infrastructure,
(d) details of the manpower required for the care center or day care center,
(e) Details of financial resources.
(2) Owners of care centers or day care centers operating in the private or non-government sector at the time of commencement of the Act shall disclose the following details and submit an application to the concerned Chief District Officer for approval within three months of the commencement of this regulation:-
(a) Applicant's Name Surname, Country of Origin,
(b) the place where the care center or day service center is operated,
(c) details of senior citizens in care centers or day service centers,
(d) details of infrastructure including capacity of care centers or day service centers,
(e) Details of the manpower in the Care Center or Day Service Centre,
(f) Details of the financial resources required for the operation of the care center or day care center.
(3) Upon examination of the application received in accordance with sub-rules (1) and (2), if it is found that the infrastructure and facilities as per rule 12 are ready, the Chief District Officer will give permission to operate the care center or day service center or both centers.
